My artistic work revolves around the act of perceiving and observing my surroundings, expressing multi sensory experiences in diverse ways. I draw inspiration from everything happening around me, often honing in on details - wether it's things seen or spoken, thoughts, feelings, conversations, tensions... I'm drawn to situations that initially evoke something indescribable in me. A documentary, at times diary-like approach runs through all my work.
Themes such as transience, nature, and the fleeting nature of a specific moment frequently resurface. My transformation of the external world leads me to combine abstraction and figurative elements to capture the indescribable more effectively than something only figurative, especially in painting. I aim to leave room for imagination, allowing viewers to find their own path and enabling art to evolve from this point furthermore.
Artworks are spaces where events unfold, time passes, and emotions play a role.
I was born in 1998 in Lüneburg, work as a freelance artist, and currently study the extracuriccular art education Master of Arts at Leipzig University. I also work as a grief counselor for children at Wolfsträne e.V. and co-lead the gallery project Horror Vacuii, with Söntke Campen and Lina Löning, where we independently organize and curate exhibitions.
